Oulton Park
Anyone going to Oulton Park since last year will notice a big difference they have put a chicane on the aproach to Knickerbrook, talking to some of the riders testing they arnt too impressed.

didn't they have a chicane there a few years ago pykey? after paul warwick's fatal car accident. i remember them using it for a few bike races and then it was scrapped. wonder why they have resurrected it?

Ade you are correct the chicane is used for cars but now the powers that be have decided the aproach to Knickerbrook is too fast, in fact Jamie Whitham gave it the thumbs up and a new track cerificate was issued.

Sorry i nearly forgot but in our local paper it says Oulton Park is up for sale, i think Octagon who own Brands& other circuits want to sell? if i won the lottery i would buy Oulton tomorrow but its nice to dream.

When it was used before all the riders hated it, and I think it caused more accidents than it prevented, besides , theres something that stops you going too fast into Knickerbrook, its called a brake!!!

Ammo a lot of the lads testing think its a joke but its a new chicane which the riders go through at virtualy walking pace but we shall soon find out?
