Hello, I know of a 1947 and it finished well in the 1947 manx, the first race after the war.
It was raced at the 1948 TT also by the original owner, I have spoken to him and heard his recollections, he then sold the bike for a 7R.
I also know of the consecutive 1947 bike.
I dont suppose there would be many made in '47 as things were just getting back after ww2.
The owner collected the first bike from Bracebridge Street and took it on the train to Liverpool to catch the ferry.
It was ordered earlier in the year from H.L.Daniels.
