RE: DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RELEASES FURTHER DETAILS OF PROPOSED MGP
Quite apart from not inviting 'biased' interested parties the answer seems to lie in the fifth line of the DED release,ie to reduce the impact on local businesses and residents by closing the roads over the weekend.

It is pretty clear to me that the finance sector has prevailed upon the government to run the Island to suit them and b****cks to history, tradition and other peoples interests, the MGP is a sitting duck as they would never get away with doing in the TT.

Finally IF the MGP making a loss of £300,000.00 then doing away with that quango called various names but to me is the Motor sports devel opment committee with a wage bill of over £250,00.00 would sort the problem overnight.

Silly me maybe these plans were their idea so justifying their existence
