It is sad news about Pat Mahoney & In tragic circumstances. He was one of the first to write & send a photo to me when I did a school project on motor cycle racing in the late 1960's. I think Pat rode in the TT, maybe in the production TT on a Kuhn Norton or similar, but without looking at the records I am not sure. I stand to be corrected. How ironic I was stood on Paddock bend at Brands in 1975 when the famous pile up happend, Pat of course being the only casualty of that serious incident with injuries that he never recovered from.
