However, what I meant to say was that the title "Grand Prix" was in use from the 1920s, and thus the MotoGP statement, as written, is indeed rubbish !! Now if they had said "the first World Championship motor cycle Grand Prix to be held in Germany . . . . . . ." that would have been a different matter.
