I fully agree with you on this Shaun. Practise up in the grandstand is a great time to take sons/daughters of an evening to soak in the atmosphere. As a youngster i thought there was nothing better than the smells and sounds of a practise from the stands.
If they make a charge then perhaps a small contribution direct to the helicopter fund would feel more appropriate and beneficial.
