racing delayed......
ok not what we like to hear but it gets bit much when the organisers have started delaying the races even before the practices have started....i'd like to draw your attention to this-
2ND TT PADDOCK WALKABOUT PLANNED
An extra TT Paddock Walkabout has been added to the 2008 TT Races, on Senior Race Day. Fans will now get two chances to meet their heroes and collect autographs and posters. All the main teams will feature and riders including John McGuinness, Guy Martin, Ian Lougher, Cameron Donald, Bruce Anstey, Dave Molyneux, Conor Cummins and Ian Hutchinson will be on hand for photographs and to chat to fans ahead of the races.
The free entry events take place at the TT Grandstand and are scheduled for Saturday 31st May from 10am to 11am ahead of the Dainese Superbike and Sure Mobile Sidecar Races and Friday 6th June from 10am to 11am ahead the Dainese Senior TT Race so fans have the chance to pick up some last minute news, paddock gossip, and check out the machines that will shortly be racing round the course.
Paul Phillips, TT & Motorsport Manager, Isle of Man Government, commented: “TT riders and the fans have always had a close relationship and the popularity of last year’s event has seen us add a second paddock walkabout to the annual calendar. We hope that as many people as possible will come down and meet the riders.”

RE: racing delayed......
if the racing starts at 12-00 on senior day isn`t there a ducati parade before ,
"Ducati will also be holding a special parade lap, prior to the Senior Race on Friday June 6 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its relationship with the TT, and the 30th anniversary of Hailwood’s triumphant return" iomtt.com
so surely the roads must be closing before 11 .therfore won`t marshalls have to be in place before then so will miss the walk about
