I'm heading over in two weeks (Weds 28th). Only doing a couple of nights of the Practice Week due to work commitments.

A bit of a different set up for me this year. I'm going out for the start of practice by bike for a couple of days, I'll catch the pre TT classics at billown and the start of TT practice.

Then I'm back out on foot for the back end of race week.

Next year, I'm planning no bike crossing and maybe a few days over.

Manx gp has taken my priority these days, I'm over for the manx for nearly a fortnight, by bike.

H2pots, that's something I've been considering for a year or two now, 
but I book for me & the bike a year in advance & say 'well, it's booked, maybe I'll cut it down next year'! 
One year I'll do it, & increase my stay at the Manx (or S100, instead of just a day trip!)

This'll be the first year we've not been on the same boat out!

Should have been on the morning boat out of Liverpool next Friday but....

My accomodation fell through as the people I was stopping with moved off Island and I haven't been able to find anywhere affordable. Then at the start of the year I had to replace my c*r and my boiler went phut in the middle of winter....Nine grand later there's a big hole in my leisure budget.

Have a good one guys - it's not like I'm jealous or anything...

Yeah pal, we're usually on the same boats aren't we.

Not this time though, I've been saying i wanted to cut TT down a bit.

I'm happy to be going over and seeing some.

Next year I might go for race week and on foot. Come what may,  I'll not be doing the booking battle on Monday

our usual, Friday of practice week to the Thursday of race week.
