Relentless Suzuki's Michael Laverty continued his rich vein of British Superbike form into yesterday's Sunflower Trophy at Bishopscourt, bagging all three Superbike race wins as Ian Lowry broke the lap record with a 1'06.323.

In the main event, Laverty finished two and a half seconds ahead of PBM Kawasaki-mounted Lowry as the pair totally outclassed the rest of the field. Third place went to Marshall Neill on the Wilson Craig Honda as John Laverty and Alastair Seeley rounded out the top five.

The first Superbike race also saw Laverty clear off into the distance, leaving Neill in his wake to cross the line some 3.5s in arrears with Lowry third another tenth back. Once again, Seeley and John Laverty made up the top five.

Laverty escaped again to the tune more than seven seconds with Lowry taking the second podium spot but third went to Seeley as Barry Burrell took his Buildbase bike to fourth and Michael Dunlop's Streetsweep Honda completed the top five. John Laverty failed to finish the first lap as did Marshall Neill.
