(ANSA) - Rome, November 4 - The Misano motor-racing circuit will be renamed after Italian MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli, who was killed in an accident at the Malaysian Grand Prix last month, local officials have said.

The much-loved and immensely talented 24-year-old lived close to the track near Rimini, which hosts the San Marino MotoGP Grand Prix but is actually in Italian territory.
