Four Scottish teams competing in the Scottish Motorcycle Racing Championship, National Superstock 600 Championship, Senior Post Classics and the Ducati Cup, all launched their race season in spectacular style at the weekend.

GSG Racing, Paul McClung Racing, Garry Hoggarth and Team Tasker launched their season by riding their race bikes into The Vine Conference Centre, Dunfermline. Each rider was accompanied into the room by music played by Stirling based band Severance.

The Event hosted by Blackbird Corporate Ltd, who has been sponsoring various riders for the past 4 years was attended by the teams and their supporters.

Lisa Foster, Director of the company said

“This is the second time I have hosted this type of event. It is something totally unique. Blackbird Corporate predominantly do this event at the start of the season as a PR event to raise the profile of different riders competing out of Scotland.”

“This year we chose to not only launch the season for our Sponsored riders ‘Team Tasker’ but to also showcase three other teams with them. All of the riders deserve recognition within their chosen sport and what better way than riding their bikes into a venue that had been made into a mini race circuit!”
