Ballymoney's William Dunlop will make his full racing debut for Moneymore based British championship and International Road Racing giants Tyco Suzuki this coming Saturday at Bishopscourt.

Dunlop tested his Suzuki machinery yesterday at Kirkistown on the Ards Peninsula, in preparation for the forthcoming KDM Cookstown 100 on April 26th, but a run out at the Bishopscourt ISB meeting will help the softly spoken Ballymoney rider fine-tune his preparations.

It will also be Dunlop’s first competitive outing on Pirelli/Metzeler tyres, which he has chosen to run this year over Dunlop rubber, such has been the peak in development from the Italian tyre manufacturers.

Dunlop is currently only confirmed in the Supersport class, but may well roll out his Tyco Suzuki Superbike or Superstock machine in the Enkalon Trophy race, which would be a major boost for the promoting club.

Belfast based Adelaide Insurance Services is the main sponsor of the Enkalon Trophy Race at Bishopscourt on Saturday.

The Irish Superbike Easter festival has once again attracted a huge entry and the 38th running of the prestigious Adelaide Enkalon Trophy has attracted the likes of current ISB champion Nico Mawhinney, Irish Supersport champion David Haire and top road racer Jamie Hamilton onto the entry list.

A full 16-race programme will get under way at 11am.

The adult admission charge of £10 includes an event programme, with under-16s free.
