In-form Manx rider Dan Kneen heads the entry list for the Bush road races, which return to the calendar this weekend after a one-year absence.

Kneen hopes to continue the form which has seen him land doubles at the Kells and Tandragee Irish national races, plus a victory at the Cookstown 100.

Kneen will ride for John Burrows' Cookstown BE Racing team but will face stiff competition from Derek McGee.

The 2013 event was called off because of rising insurance costs.

The organisers were also having trouble attracting adequate sponsorship for the race.

Kneen's team-mate Michael Sweeney should be a strong contender, along with Ballyclare's Jamie Hamilton on the Wilson Craig Hondas.

Dungannon man Nigel Moore, course resident Paul Cranston, Seamus Elliott, Davy Morgan and Sam Dunlop are also notable inclusions on the entry list.

Czech rider Michal Dokoupil heads the overseas challenge for the latest round of the Irish and Ulster road racing championships.

Roads close for practice at 16:00 BST on Friday and at 10:00 BST on Saturday for racing.
