Following a short mid-season hiatus, ILR Kawasaki will return to the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 paddock this weekend.

Due to Robbin Harms' personal decision not to contest any further rounds of the series, the team have undergone a change in rider personnel and will run James East at Oulton Park, plus other selected rounds later in the season.

24 years old East is no stranger to the BSB paddock. After four impressive seasons in the Superstock 600 class, mainly running his own team, he moved up to the 1000cc class in 2013 in what was a learning year on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

This season he has scored points at the Brands Hatch and Knockhill rounds of the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship.

Team manager Ian Lougher:

'As a team we are delighted to return to the BSB paddock and look forward to working with James East.

It's going to be a tough ask trying to learn what James likes and prefers in the set up of his bike, especially with the very limited track time which the Superstock classes are allocated, but as a team we will give 100% to James and his requirements.'
