Reeves and Cluze Going for F2 World Trophy

Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze will start from pole position on their “SMT, Remse Racing” DMR, Honda. They set a time of 1:38.670. Reeves and Cluze had electrical problems during free practice and the first qualifier. The team managed to get this problem sorted and set the time in the second qualifying session.

In the centre of the front row will be Michael Grabmuller and Sophia Kirchhofer on their “PSV Wels-Delta Racing Team” LCR, Yamaha 600. They set a time of 1:39.120. The team were really happy with how things went, and look forward to the two races on Friday.

Third on the grid will be Gordon Shand and Phil Hyde on their “Shand Racing” Shand, Suzuki 600. The team made some gearing changes to their machine and the changes were good for a time of 1:40.543. Shand and Hyde are really looking forward to the races, and are really happy to be racing back on the Oschersleben circuit.

Remy Guignard and Frederique Poux will be heading the second row on their “RAMZY Team” MR Equipe, Honda 600; the team did not have any problems during practice and are happy with a time of 1:40.739

Next to them on the second row will be Echart Rosinger and Andy Kolloch on their “Team Early Gray” Baker, 600 Suzuki, with a time of 1:41.418. Both Rosinger and Kolloch are looking forward to the two races and hope they can get a good result.

Heading row three is Mike Roscher and Anna Burkard on their “RSC Hanni Racing” LCR Suzuki 600, they set a time of 1:42.517, the team are hoping to get a good result here, and are happy to be back racing the smaller F2 machine.

In the middle of the third row will be the all Austrian team of Gunther Bachmaier and Georg Moser on their LCR, Suzuki 600 they set a time of 1:42.554. Next to them will be Enrico Wirth and Gerd Gorlich on their LCR, Kawasaki 600, they set a time of 1:42.951.

Friday there will be two races for this World Trophy. The first race will be a 10 lap sprint race and starts at 1 pm local time. At 7 pm local time a 15 lap Gold race will decide who wins the trophy.
