Lisa - Update
Back from a visit up to Ninewells hospital, not the first time I've been but its the first time Lisa has asked me to update everyone.

Her legs/ankles are healing very slowly and there is still a chance her right one will never heal, at the moment she's just glad she still has her toesies (hopefully for a lot longer as well)

Her body has started to reject the pin in her wrist, so far its down to pills to try and stop the infection, the longer the pin remains the more chance it will heal better than with out it.

She still has bruises covering most of her body but they are now starting to go, slowly.

Nothing much could be done for any internal battering her body got, its enough that nothing the docs know of has suffered serious permanent damage though she did go a nice yellow colour again with jaunduce Wink

The road to full recovery will be a long and slow one, at times it will be very lonely as during the week its hard for us to get to see her much before 6pm so if anyone is at a loose end the visiting times are from 3 to 8pm Wink

So far no wheel chair as there is a political thing going on, she lives in Fife so Edinburgh should provide the chair but is in a Tayside hospital!

At least she has managed to get a breath of fresh air when Fiona took her out for a short while in a spare chair

Ok thats all for now, another update when appropriate

There's nothing political about the wheelchair...they just reckon she'd do a runner!!
Get well, Lisa. Lots of people asking for you at EF at the weekend.
