RE: Ferry invoice arrived...
My how times change £8 12s 6p train from Leeds ferry. From Liverpool return to Leeds. First time I went,  but I suppose that makes today's not bad value,  that was 2s 6p more than a weeks wage for me at the time as an 18 year old

We won't go in to how much it has cost me since then,

Yeah but do you have enough spares to pack for TT yet still maintain one a day until the great day arrives?

Don't tell me Steady the Edward but I can guess proper bikers also threw them up to the ceiling to see if they stuck and if they didn't, they were good for another day [Image: smiley-sick007.gif]

Just got mine, but afraid, due to a change in circumstances, I cannot go now.  Have to be content with the MGP next year, but I prefer that anyway.

I`m glad you have brought this conversation back on topic dommyman. lol

Real shame you can`t get to the tt, but as you say, the MGP is superb anyway.
I may do the same after next year.

Can you transfer your ticket to the MGP?

Now there's a proper biker for you!! He knows the game that boy

As for the socks yes you turn them and swap them side to side and turn them again,  and if it rains you start all over again as they will have had a wash,  and as it all ways rains at least every other day no packing required , what you are stood up in will do you for the full two weeks,  now what's your next problem??

Have you offered the booking for sale Dommy some one may want them,  better than letting the Racket have money for nothing as you can't get a refund on your deposit what dates and and times did you have?

My invoice arrived by email yesterday. £480 fot the two of us and two bikes. A total rip off but no option. Still, it's not called the "Isle of Man Steam Racket Company" for no reason.

Well Eddy, I am booked on the 20.30pm From Liverpool on Monday June 1st, and return to Liverpool on Thursday June 18th at 15.00pm.  It's all I could get at the time, but is rather too long for me this year, which is why I am not going.  If anybody wants them, and knows how to transfer them, they are welcome.  I would rather give them away than just lose the money. Anybody interested, just let me know.  The booking is for a bike and rider and the balance is £168.90
