Thanks Spannerman - much appreciated. I've posted on Facebook and Twitter in the same vein but would like to take this opportunity to thank all Officials and Marshals for their co-operation throughout TT 2015. As you know I can only see from the Start line to St Ninians footbridge so am totally reliant on the information and feedback I receive from the Marshals - which again has been spot on.

The contribution from everyone has been excellent and we have collectively delivered the greatest Motorsport event in the world.

It goes without saying that our thoughts are with those we have sadly lost and those that are seriously injured and to whom we wish a speedy recovery.

350 days to go guys .............

And as an additional comment, its also nice to know when we're stuck up the mountain that the man in the hot seat doesn't want to leave us sat up there any longer than we have to be. The communication we get is appreciated, thanks Gary.

Absolutely! Well said Spannerman; superb job by Gary T, proper sensible decisions taken in a timely and logical way, with great communication.

All I heard throught the fortnight  - from riders, commentators, marshalls & fans alike - were comments about how well the CofTC had handled proceedings; and the respect they had for him.

So a big "well done Gary!" Your expertees & inter-personal skills are evidently a big reason why the TT continues to from strength to strength. Long may you reign!!

I remember under a previous CofC being stuck at the Black Hut for about 3 weeks, my son who was about 10 at the time said he would rather have been in school, decision making and communication has moved on a lot since then. 

Well done Gary. Very difficult job and done exceptionally well.

Gary is first class. Also love his thankyou speeches over the radio to us Marhsals just makes you feel apreciated that wee bit more

Well done Gary, Having attended the last few NW200s where the organisation is DIABOLICAL, it was refreshing to attend this years TT where your positivity & clear decision making made the meeting a pleasure to attend, even with some of the difficulties you encountered,YOUR decision making made all the difference, long may you reign Gary & thanks again for a wonderful TT

Looking forward to seeing Gary carry out the same job at Scarborough this weekend.

Hopefully the event will be ran as smooth and slick as the TT!

Top job. I heard your courteous approach by being sat close to a Marshalls radio.  You are a credit to the TT

Gary - as the Forum is being wound down but being left as a record - I just wanted to say Thanks - You inherited a massively difficult job and rather than being pulled every which way by Politicians, Press et al you focused on making the right calls backed up by proper knowledge meteorological and trackside.You have totally impressed me with your fearless ability to make the big call and get it right

I really do think the IOM have to invest in more infrastructure and smart assistance for you and especially if their dream of Contracting out the racing to the private sector is ever to materialise.

Train people around you please to act and think like you and take the right option to move on to other major sporting events off island which could do with your " Big call" approach- I can think of many from Cycling to F1

I would like to echo the comments on here. Gary has always remained honest and approachable. He clearly has the best intentions of Mountain Course racing at heart, and undertakes his tasks with great integrity, compassion, and understanding.
