Very sad to hear this news. It is a cruel fate that somebody who rescued many lives on and outside the racetrack has passed away. I admire John Hinds for the work he preformed and the person who he was.
By following his twitter account over the last years I had the impression that he was a fine and humble man. At the NW I saw him in action, following the racers, and he was as fast as some of the racers. Godspeed John, you will be missed.
