As I only just had the opportunity to jump behind the pc, I wondered if Bruce Anstey even started tonight, as he wasnt on the timesheets, also missed him in earlier sessions, not as if there were so many...
Last year that YZR500 sounded awesome, even on tannoy...
Especcially him mentioning to go through the 127-lap on that lovely piece of kit, would add to some extra attention on his appearence.
Anyone any news on how he is going so far, or do we really need to wake him up
According to reports, he did a 'casual' lap, then stopped at Sulby next lap. Probably at the Glen, so he could get a pint from Rosie - LOL! I don't think the bike is much different from last year, and of course the TT and Irish races are still pretty fresh in his mind? So, as long as he qualifies, he can stay asleep until race time! Chuffed he pulled it off last year, and - If all the stars align - he may be doing 130 on the Yam? Roll on a safe/dry race time for all.

I think he woke up, but the delay ment he could have a lie in!!! Pity about the second pit stop, was amazing following the live timeing on that last lap. Cracking race even if I could only listen to it.
Was indeed Excellent Owl man! A joy to follow livetiming and Manxradio! Yesss, too bad his black flag due to his broken silencer/exhaust, even more impressive how he hauled in Hillier and Farquahar after that extra stop! Man of the meeting for me, so far
Maybe DBD, but if it was really the bike to be on, the field would be full of RDs RGs and YZRs, regulations are Always a bit... also see some last years Patons inbetween oldtimers
I had to skip this year but really enjoyed listening to the coverage on Manx radio, I think if you look into it a lot of the bikes on the grid today may not conform to the original F1 rules, but take nothing away from it was a great race and Bruce on his day as we all know is super impressive on any bike. I'm looking forward to listening to the MGP this week good luck to all the guys and gals, hopefully the weather is good and safe racing to everyone.
