Pete Symes Benefit Night Updates
[Image: petesymesribbon.jpg]

As you may be aware, there is a Benefit Night arranged for the 21st of November at Squires Cafe/Pub and a post within the Events, Fundraising & Events section of the Forum was placed letting you know a bit more about it.

In the run-up to the event, more up to date information will be placed within this thread, so keep looking in to see what news there is and what you may be able to do to help out a rider in his time of need.

On the night of the 21st, Mick Grant, Conrad and Dean Harrison along with Gary Thompson  (CoC for TT), will be present for a talk and a Q&A session.

As advertised there will be a an auction that contains loads of great items. (Updated List of items to follow).

There will also be a Stall where items such as Fleeces, Helmets, Leggings, Polo shirts, Michelin Bag, Bike boots, gloves, Pirelli caps, German superbike champion T shirt etc will be on sale for those who may be a bit shy and who are reluctant to get involved with the auction. - (Some great Xmas Presents)

Oh yes, and there will also be live music from a group called the Screaming Eagles. This group is led by ex Saxon member Paul Fasker Johnson. They have agreed to play for free, which is a big help.

Also, we are  hoping to have some A5 Calendars for sale, which feature action shots from Pete's racing exploits. These will be £7.00 each

Yesterday (Friday the 6th), a set of leathers which have been donated, worn by winner Rob Holden in the 1995 Supermono race were placed on Ebay for sale - Ebay Site Here - Item - 121808402463

So go have a look and place a bid. You never know you may just win the in-line auction !!

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know  that we are opening the doors earlier than planned on Saturday, which will now be 18.50.

The reason is that Paul Routledge who is the RAF gent who will be conducting the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight tour for us, has agreed to do a 15 min presentation on what you can expect on the Tour.

So that will commence at 19.10.

The official start time will still be 19.30 just in case anybody has missed these messages.

This is just something extra for those interested in that particular auction prize.

Thanks malcolm
