Re: Real Road Racing.com
Sorry Paul,
I just had all these e-mails with a virus attached and then RRR was down so I put 2 and 2 together and got 5.
I'm still getting this mydoom virus sent to me someone must have it and not know.
I did a full system scan earlier today and I'm doing another right now. Plus I checked for any Norton updates but I'm fully up to date

Re: Real Road Racing.com
The worm "harvests" addresses from boards etc, so it could have been from this one, RRR, or one of those shady ones some of you may have been on (LOL). Its not coming from the website, or from the person it says. Just delete them..DON'T EVER open the attachments. They slip through anti-virus, and sometimes even firewalls, because they are attachments, safe until opened.

Re: ATT ade
hi gail, i took my new e-mail addy off after so much carp [that's an anagram] coming thru. night after night on my hotmail account i was getting offers of boob jobs [as if my paps need to be any bigger!], free viagra [the last thing i need, i drink guinness, full of iron] and male member enlargement [must admit i was tempted by this one ;-] ]. plus hundreds of other offers. one of the strangest was from canada and kept telling me i'd won 50 lb of fresh lobster, imagine the smell of that by the time it got back to ilson. it'd be like standing in the middle of the dancefloor at midnight in the wine vaults when liberty x was playing. anyway, enuff drivel, if ever you want me by e-mail, ask helen, she's got me new one.
cheers and happy easter, ade!

Re: ATT ade
Once you've got the kitty built up, bring it here to meet Gizzy, the 1 1/2 stone cat!

Re: ATT ade
Helen, just to let you know that I attended A Burns Supper yesterday evening at the British Embassy, Riyadh. (Saudi).
The event is held every year, run by the Caledonian Society here and I am a member. Great evening with the real stuff, kilts and all. We were thrown out after 12:30am!!! There was a St. Andrews night last November as well.

Re: ATT ade
Ade,

Regarding the spam you are receiving.
I was receiving 50+ per day until I installed mailwasher. It's well worth a look at & it's free.

Now it's set up I see virtually no spam just the emails I want !

Have a look & give it a go ......

Anti Spam
There is also another good free programme, simple to install and set up, called Spam Buster, you can get that one on http://www.contactplus.com/

Re: Anti Spam
My service provider installed a spam catching thingi, but it caught lots of non-spam mail, held it overnight, and then I still had to trawl through the lot the next day, selecting what I wanted...not a lot of help.
