Milwaukee Aprilia are gearing up for Round 11 of the 2017 WorldSBK season at the Magny-Cours circuit in France. Just two rounds remain on the calendar after this weekend, making it an important period as teams begin to look toward the 2018 season.

Round 10 at Portimao delivered the team's best Superpole result of the year with P2 and P3 on the grid for Eugene and Lorenzo, followed by their best race result of the year with P4 and P6 respectively in Race 2.

With a challenging layout, grippy surface and the threat of wet races, Magny-Cours looks set to deliver another thrilling weekend of Superbike action. Milwaukee Aprilia have made big steps forward in recent races, and will look to produce further strong results this weekend.

Eugene Laverty - #50 - Aprilia RSV4-RF

“Portimao was our best result of the year and the closest we have been to the race winner. We had a good test on Monday also, so we’re on the right track and looking to progress with three rounds left.

Magny-Cours should be good for us because the rear tyre is usually consistent for the whole race. That could all change if it rains though, and it looks set to rain all day on Saturday which will be a challenge.

The grip of the tarmac here will be a benefit though, we are still missing some traction out of the slow corners but it’s an area we are improving. We’ll be working hard towards the podium which is the aim this weekend."

Lorenzo Savadori - #32 - Aprilia RSV4-RF

"Magny-Cours is a good, fast track, and I have good memories from winning the Superstock 1000 championship here in 2015.

I hope for some sun and good weather this weekend, because it is usually like a lottery here! A podium will not be easy and we must very hard, but we will try our best to get there.

It’s important for us to continue on the path we started in Portimao. We need to improve the feeling with the bike and especially with the rear tyre. If we adjust this little problem, then I think for sure can be quick in the race and challenge."
