Re: Manx Norton
I'm sorry, my collection is very very big and this book has not been easy to find....yet..!!

I will have to look in my loft this weekend but I frankly can not find it immediately, but I know I have it somewhere.
How long have I got ??

Re: Manx Norton
Ian, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Books belong on shelves, not in the loft!!!

Re: Manx Norton-33rd Psalm
The 33rd Psalm

The loft is my bookshelf,
I shall not want.
She maketh me put all away.

Lounge shelves are full too.
So much rubbish she say,
but a collection second to none.......

Retreival of items by year is simple,
I find them from labelled black bags,
But a book of this sort,
needs a special retort.
I'll find it my friend, given TIME...

(She is the Memsahib who 'just' allows me to keep this collection.....When I return from the TT each year I anticipate she has had a clear out or a fire !!)

Re: Manx Norton-33rd Psalm
Sad, Ian - I feel for you!!

I am lucky, in that when my first racing career finished, I sold everything, bought a house and married the team manager.

She insisted that I build bookshelves, cabinets etc downstairs, and also convert the third bedroom to a library!!

Not only that, but for 12 years prodded me to go out again - hence the "Scharnhorst" which appears 3 or 4 times a year.

If you're over for practice week, call and see us in the Billown paddock - we'll be there until the Thursday, under the Bavarian flag.

Re: Manx Norton-C J Ayton
I have spent a wonderful day in my loft going through many a bag !!!

Unfortunately, Mr Slinn, my Manx Norton book was written by C J Ayton and while it is an excellent book in its own right, it is not the one wot you want !

Even so, this book has a lot of information in it,, would it help in any way >?????
