Saturday night at the Manor
I have been asked by Helen 'The Witch' to post a reminder about the get-together tomorrow (Saturday) night at the Manor Hotel.

Firstly, directions to the Manor. Just a few yards before you get to the start/finish line at the TT Grandstand, turn right into Greenfield Road. Turn left at the top (just before the IOM College) and follow the road for about 200 yards, and the Manor is on the left hand side.

We'll aim to get there for about 8pm, although it may be later should the races and the following practice session be delayed. Hope to see plenty of you there !

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
I was on my way to the Manor and got waylaid so I apologise that I did not take beer with you all..However I want you all to know that the fact we WERE on our beloved Island is enough to feel the links between us all--I met some of you at the Grrandstand and similar well-known sites but not as a proper meeting. We must get togethr on Radio TT and tell thre world of our "club". It's like the CB Days....I was "three legs" in those days.......because of my love of the Isle of Man..Sit down Witch !!!

see ya all again...I'm home with totalled ankles and a great desire to sleep for a week--What a GREAT place is the Isle of Man and his TT..

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
Don't start talking to rabbits Helen or you will end up like a Canadian friend of mine. You know the one who keeps promising to come to the Island?

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
Well, I eventually made it there after driving around for about half an hour, I had only the original directions.
Nice to put a few faces to names, so important when spotting people later in the week.
Thanks Helen for pulling it together.

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
We enjoyed that evening. Sadly the music was a bit loud and it was abit difficult to understand oneanother. But overall a very successful evening.
Thanks Helen. Hans

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
Thanks very much to everyone who came. It was great to see you all. I will try to organise something for us for next year, where we have a bit of space to ourselves. Just 11 months or so to go....

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
Sorry about the NM posting. I was suddenly overcome by sadness that I had missed such a great party with everyone and couldn't type anything.
Oh, and my computer was locking up . I think it's sorted out now. Just a bit of carrot stuck in the keyboard LOL!!

MGP Saturday night at the Manor?
How about a Manx night at the Manor, or possibly somewhere quieter. Sorry I did not make it, I was escorting a Russian film crew round the Island. This was the first time they had sent someone here to cover the TT festival. They put together a nice 5 minute feature for Sky Russia. Looks good, but can't understand a thing they say!

Re: Saturday night at the Manor
How about a night out in the Sidings, where we will be able to get real ale...maybe even some Wobbly Bottom, or Dark Island....? Which night? I arrive Sunday morning.
I will be flying over on the Hoover, but I'm afraid it's the single seat sports version!

Re: MGP night at the Manor?
Ace idea Mr S. Which night would be best do you think? I will be over early, but maybe some people would rather it was in Manx week itself?

Re: MGP night at the JDF!
Joey Dunlop Foundation are having a fun fundraiser that night, so why don't we all go to that, and have a table together?
More details on the goings on as I get them, but I had a great time at the TT one.
