RE: lap records through the years
The course that’s used today started to be used in 1911. Named “The Snaefell Mountain Course” or “The Mountain Course” or as I, among others say, ”The TT-Course”. There were no races during the World War 1, 1915 to 1919. From 1920 to 1939 there were races but 1940 to 1945 races were cancelled because of the World War 2. 1946 no TT, just Manx Grand Prix. 1947 the races came back and from that year there has been races all the years except for 2001 because of the foot and mouth disease. If you count this together, the 100th TT-race will take place 2019!

The enclosed link leads to a list that comes from the forum member Luca who stays in Italy. I’ve got his permission to publish it.

Additional to the list Michael Dunlop in 2017 on his second lap in Senior TT lapped in 17.02.009 with a speed of 132.903 m.p.h.

Lap times through the years
Don't be that optimistic! The light in the tunnel can be a train. Sad
