Senior Race - 5 mins To Go
Only 5 minutes to the off with the riders out on the grid ready to go.

Chris Kinley out there in among them chatting and getting last minute snippets from them.

Duckett missed his start place but is allowed to start at the back of the field.

Blackley takes off, Andrew Marsden also -

Oil Flag out for Windy Corner,

Archibald goes through, with Lougher close and now McGuinness even closer, next is Griffiths with Anstey closing, now Farquhar and then Britton, Harris, Parrett and Heath together, Finnegan on the tail of Davies, Carswell and Big H go through, Blackley and Duckett on his tail, Hutchinson, Beattie, Montano all go through safely, Ian Hodgson and Armstrong run through, then Marsden with Palmer

Phil Harvey a non starter

Archibald in first, next is McGuinness in front of Lougher by 2 or 3 bike lengths, Griffiths in and round very smoothly, next Ansty well over and guns it up the hill, a long way back Farquhar, Britton Parrett and Harris all together, Finnegan leaves a black line as he goes through, Big H very fast in and followed by Gary Carswell, Blackley, Htchinson and Beattie very close together, now Montano and Armstrong through, next Hodgson

Griffiths reported to have retired at Appeldene.

A long gap now to Farquhar, then Parrett and Heath together, Finnegan goes through with Big H close, then Harris and Britton together, then Carswell and Cap Davies follows, a gap to Blackley, then Barton, Hutchinson,

First on the road is Archibald with McGuinness right on his tail and then Lougher taking a much tighter line, a long gap now to Anstey,

Cordoba off but reported to be ok.

Farquhar rather slowly, then Heath and Parrett together, Finnegan sideways again and then Paul Hunt, Britton, Carswell, Harris, Davies, Blackley, Barton, Hutchinson

McGuinness first in, then Archibald, next is Lougher all changing rear wheels,

Archibald away first then McGuinness, Loughers bike didn't want to fire but it did eventually losing him some time, next in is Anstey also changing the rear wheel.

Anstey away

Big H comes in and Farquhar shaking his head, Heath in and also Parrett,

Parrett away, Britton in, Mark Parrett stops, Cap Davies in, Parrett gets a shove and he's away.

Farquhar retires at the pits, Harris retires

First through is Archibald on the road and a long way behind is Lougher who has come to a stop and he is banging the tank, not a happy man at all.

Anstey comes through, now in 2nd place

Heath comes through an awfully long way behind, now Big H and Mark Parrett, Finnegan yet again broadside thrilling the crowds, then Carswell, Britton next and then Davies and Blackley together

McGuinness retires with clutch trouble

Anstey now comes through followed by Wade Boyd,

A long, long way back is Heath, then Parrett,

Archibald comes through very slow and steady,

Duckett goes through,

Anstey comes in a lot faster and is still on it,

Heath comes through and then Parrett really over on his side, Finnegan doing his usual atthe hairpin, Carswel is next to come through looking very quick and smooth,

Lougher in the box at Ramsey, - "Disappointed, battery or something has gone, such a shame for all the guys who have supported me. Just a terrible week for me, nothing has gone right".

Yes Archibald has done it, winning the Joey Dunlop trophy again.

Anstey takes second, and Gary Carswell does take the 3rd place.

Ansteys hands are covered in blisters after that ride saying he had a lot of vibration on the bike.

Gary Carswell - Beaming he says "Its fantastic, unbelievable, just rode the wheels off the bike and I thank everyone who has helped. It's brilliant, but now have to get the bikes ready for tomorrow at Billown".
