Re: Practice - Continues (3)
Jim Redman is at the racing today and is going to do a lap around the circuit, unfortunately not on the Honda 6, but in a car, what a disappointment, as a lot of people would love to have seen and heard that wonderful machine.

125/400's now go out,

Gail Musson out again, Nick Woodman out,

Matt Jackson has been out on a 1000cc bike in practice and is thoroughly enjoying it,

Chris Clarke from Kendal goes, Taubman out again,

Matt Jackson and Nic Woodman go round together,

Gail Musson takes a strange line around X4ways and Palmer outbrakes himself (should know better Chris).

Nigel Beattie getting plenty of practice in today, he is actually a newcomer to this circuit although he is a Manxman.

Re: Practice - Continues (4)
Gail comes around X4ways taking a much better line this time,

Even the sheep are coming over to the fence to see what is going on at X4ways ???? Strange sheep on the Island !!!!!!!

Guy Martin goes well

Palmer is quickest in the 125 class in this session, Lougher 2nd and Matt Jackson 3rd.

Madsen-Mygdal is quickest in the 400 class, Dobbs and Corlett are 2nd and 3rd in this session.

Correction to the 125's it is Nick Woodman who takes fastest lap and is quicker by 6 seconds on Palmer.

Correction to correction, his transponder fell off.

This really is a great little race meeting and so well run by the Southern club, every rider made to feel at home and everyone just so friendly. For those of you who have never been, get here for the Southern 100 in July and you will see what I mean.

Re: Billown Circuit and The Southern 100
Probably every riders favourite road race. The Southerns the greatest atmosphere in road racing if you ain't been there you don't know what you have missed.

The best organised and the friendliest road race in the world. Organisers, Officials, Scruts and Jockeys, try it and you will love it.

If you ain't raced or been a punter there you ain't lived. Enjoy.
