Gail - Wednesday & Thursday practice
I've been away from my computer for a couple of days, so a brief update on the Wednesday and Thursday practice sessions.

Conditions on Wednesday night were generally fine, but with a stiff wind which probably wasn't too much of a problem on the bigger bikes but was slightly unsettling at times on the little 125. Gail took things steadily on the first lap, circulating at just over 91mph, before upping the pace on her second lap which was clocked at 95.27mph. This was just a fraction down on her speed from Saturday night, which at this stage was still the fastest lap of the week by a 125 rider.

On Thursday afternoon Gail was running in a new piston, so took her first lap very steadily and also experimented with slightly different gearing. However after one lap she decided to revert back to her original gearing, and in slightly deteriorating weather posted a speed of 92.42mph on her second lap. All in all she is reasonably happy with the week so far, although former British 80cc Champion Mick Jackson climbed ahead of Gail to the top of the week's 125 leaderboard on Thursday afternoon with a lap of over 97mph.

Two more practice sessions remain, with fingers crossed for good conditions to conclude Practice Week.
