I've not been for many a year but I'm going across on a short visit this year. I'm only there for the last days racing and taking a push bike (i do cycle a lot, usually around 4k miles a year).
As I'm peddling it and plan to peddle the 60 odd miles home from the ferry, it's weather dependent. I do have a plan b for the ride home if the weather is bad.
Not sure where I'm planning to watch, maybe church but I'll see on the day.
Who else plans on going over?

I'll be going for the whole thing. Never had the opportunity previously but as I'm now (as the govt would put it) 'unproductive'...
Seems like a strong entry and something like 35 newcomers this year. Looks like a lot of interest in the twins to the point that the club are adding an extra race for them. Presumably a consolation race for anyone who doesn't qualify for the 'main' races.
We'll be there, again, for our annual "boys day out"! you'll be able to find us on the boat, just listen for the commotion coming from the bar! 😂
We used to march to iron gate or Joeys & then catch the steam train back to Castletown station (with a swift pint or 2 in the Sidings!) then walk over to Stadium or Castletown corner for the afternoon, but age has crept upon some (faulty knees & the such!) & we may well end up ensconced on the start/finish, frequenting the Foraging Vintners "pop-up" establishment instead.
I'm watching the forecast closely. Not looking too promising for the last couple of days so far (yes, i know it can change and does).
As I'm peddling it all, it's weather dependent..... Hopefully it improves, it is early days on the forecast yet though.
At the minute it looks like a wet peddle in, a full wet day watching the racing and a wet ride home. If that continues, I'll be canning the jaunt and pocketing the refund.

Looking like a decent day for the Thursday of S100.
I'm gonna go then, weather ropey either side. I have a train booked but if the weather looks not too bad, I'm planning to peddle in the 60 miles to heysham on Wednesday evening.
Friday looks ropey at best, might take up my train ticket if need be. If fair, I'll peddle that one home too.
One question, I've got a TT ear piece radio, i think be able to pick up the commentary on it? I'm trying to travel maximum lightness.
