I have on previous years found myself pitching tent on a delightful strip of land next to Palm trees on the seafront. I dont believe this is a official site but it is very handy for all amenities that Douglas has to offer and has wonderful views. The other advantage is that much after midnight i find my legs wont take me much further from Bushy's the other tented emporium, who also occupy a similar position on the sea front. It may be the fresh air that is the cause of my exhaustion or maybe not! i would like to reasure anyone that should find themselves passing this site after midnight that it is not land slip but my snoring you may hear, if you dont please turn me over into the "Recovery Position" as i dont wish to wake up dead.
