Senior/Junior Support Classic
ok, so after a break for a cup of tea and a bap, it's time to look at the Junior/Senior Classic. This is due to start at around 13:10 and includes board regular Larry Devlin. Elle Forrest and Kay Streets are out in race also on a 350 Honda and 350 Goldstar (respectively).

This is the race (Class 1) that Elle Forrest won last year to make her the first female to win a race at Billown. (Alex Whitwell won the Class 2 race).

Non Starters are 35, 36, 37, 38, 41, 42, 46, 54, 55, 59, 60 & 65

Off they go on their sighting lap.

At the end of lap 1 it is is Brian Nichol out in front by a long way with Harold Bromley next, then comes Peter Richardson, Ron Brown, John Clark, John Leech & Roy Phipps.

X4 Ways it is Nichol, Bromley, Richardson, Brown and Clarke. Elle Forrest looking good in the 350cc class on the road.

End of lap 2 , Clark moves up into 3rd place. placings - Nichol, Bromley, Clark, Richardson, Brown and Leech.

Richardson first in the 350 with Elle Forrest running 2nd.

X4 Ways - Nichol, Bromley, Richardson, Clark; Larry devlin goes through on his BMW safely.

End of lap 3 it's Nichol, Bromley, Richardson, Clark

end of lap 4 the first 3 remain as they were, Nichol, Bromiley, Richardson.

John Clarke, Ron Brown, John Leech Snr, Elle Forrest all follow through in that order.

Les Cross, Larry Devlin, Harvey Sweatnam, Jeffrey Straughan, Nick Penny all follow through in that order.

Lap 5 - Nichol holds a commanding lead over Bromiley of some 12 seconds with Richardson only a few seconds behind Bromiley.

John Clarke looks to have some problems as he drops back.

Larry Devlin goes through making good time, Kay Streets runs through safely as is Dave Clarke.

John Leech Snr is having a great ride here today making good progress through the field.

Brian Nichol is now being caught by Harold Bromiley with the gap down to about 5 seconds, Peter Richardson still sittting there in 3rd place,

John Clark is falling back further and further as he obviously has problems with his bike.

Elle Forrest looking good and is in line to take 2nd place in the 350cc class behind Peter Richardson.

Larry Devlin runs through with Kay Streets close behind.

Last lap and it's Nichol in front pulling away again from Bromiley and Richardson chasing hard to catch him, at X4 Ways.

Placings at the finish line:-

Brian Nichol
Harold Bromiley
Peter Richardson
John Leech Snr
Ron Brown
Elle Forrest
