This should be the race of the day with all the top runners out in it. Chris Palmer is out on the Fred Walmsley Manx Norton again looking for his second win of the day, Mike Hose is on a Honda and not the Rocket 3 as advertised, Guy Martin, Bill Swallow, Derek Whalley and Alan Oversby will all be in contention for sure. Decca Kelly is out on his 350 Yam also. Watch Paul Coward go on his 350 Yam as he is on form just now.

Off they go on their sighting lap.

They are all lined up now and ready to go.

27 starters for this race and they're away into the distance with Roger Hurst lifting the front wheel off the ground,

And Palmer goes through at the front at X4 Ways with a really tight bunch behind him.

At end of lap 1 it's Chris Palmer, Paul Coward, Oversby, Whalley and Decca Kelly.

X4 Ways Palmer still leads with Coward sticking close on his 350 Yam, with Oversby next on the road.

End of Lap 2 it's Palmer, Coward, Oversby, Swallow,

John Loder retires at end of lap 2.

X4 Ways Palmer pulls out a bit of a lead, with Coward and Swallow coming through close together, then Steve Elliot and Decca followed by McGahan.

End of Lap 3 - Palmer, Coward, Oversby and Swallow, then Decca Kelly

This is close, but Palmer is pulling away.

Palmer leads but Oversby is now in 2nd with Coward dropping back to 3rd,

X4 Ways lap 5 - Palmer smoothly through with Oversby behind him then Bill Swallow, and Coward drops back into 4th. Coward now pulls up shaking his head.

Palmer is stretching his lead again from Oversby and Swallow.

Decca Kelly is running well.

Swallow is now in 2nd place, with Oversby in 3rd, then Kelly and McGahan, Sharp.

Palmer is enjoying himself out there for sure on the Manx Norton. He is leading at the end of lap 7 with a 5.7 second advantage.

Swallow is really trying to pull back that gap, but it doesn't look like he can, the way that Palmer is riding.

Placings:- Palmer, Swallow, Oversby,

Palmer still out in front with Swallow and Oversby very close together, some 4.7 seconds behind.

McGahan runs through safely at X4 Ways in 5th place.

Palmer leads for the start of the last lap followed by Swallow and Oversby, Decca and McGahan then follow.

At X4 Ways Swallow makes a mess of it and drops back to 3rd.
