this might be a daft question, but what have all these foreign riders done to get a t.t. ride that shaun harris hasn't?

ACU? why not add "nt" to the end, you'll get the idea!

To answer ade! The foreign riders have under the ACU rule qualified for a 2006 TT Course Licence.

So, tell me Chris, how can the the ACU issue a licence to a foreign rider when the ACU's jurisdiction only extends to "the British Isles, excluding Ireland" and you must be "ordinarily resident in England, Wales, the Channel Isles or the Isle of Man"to be issued with an ACU licence anyway :?: (both quotes from the ACU National Sporting Code, Fourth Edition, Revision 7, January 2006)

cheers for that, chris. however, my question still hasn't been answered. in the press release about foreign riders, there is another rider from new zealand [not mr anstey], how did he get his ride? hope this is a bit clearer? personally it looks as though shaun has been treated very shabbily, my opinion. me and shaun have had a few set to's on the boards, but what the hell, my gob's as big as his, unfortunately my dangly bits are nowhere near  characters like him seem to get less and less every year and all we'll end up with will be drones like nigel [mr personality] mansell. give the boy a bike or two and let him ride for god's sake.

Shaun hasn't done the required number of races, Ade...like you I totally disagree with the whole idea, but rules is rules, I guess. Bruce and the others did the races, while Shaun was busy setting up for Guy.
