What about this for an idea
When people say one thing and mean another its called politics, when organisers say one thing and mean another its called a mistake, when the ACU say one thing and mean another its called information.

For various good reasons, Dave, it wouldn't be a runner.

Cargo will explain why it wouldn't do the IOM any good.

However, if the IOM Centre were to cut itself off from the ACU and apply for independent affiliation to the FIM, that could be a different kettle of herring!!

The ACU would still be the governing body it's their meeting. they would not give it up easily the TT is a cash cow for the ACU.
Youth is wasted on the under forties !

Who actually OWNS the TT Course, surely the Manx Government/People, its on their Island, the ACU only licence it.
