DID THE ACU LISTEN & RIDERS TOOK NOTE ?
Lol

This is what I'm refering to, if you remember the outcry last year with no
British 250 riders.....................

The FIM subsequently looked on this request favourably and the wild cards will be as follows;

250GP Ian Gardner, aged 34 from Milton Keynes, Beds Alex Kenchington, aged 23 from Wellington, Somerset, Luke Lawrence, aged 27 from Sudbury, Suffolk Dan Linfoot, aged 18 from Knaresborough, North Yorks

125GP Daniel Cooper, aged 19 from Stroud, Glos Kyle Kentish, aged 21 from Chesham, Bucks Alex Lowes, aged 16 from Lincoln, Lincs Anthony Rogers, aged 16 from Norwich, Norfolk Other than Dan, who entered, qualified and finished 9th in last years 125cc Grand Prix, all will be experiencing for the first time the quality of the competition at Grand Prix level.

All 250cc riders have been contesting and collecting points in the 2006 European Championship. The 125 GP wild cards have been competing successfully in the 125 GP British Championship, with both Alex Lowes and Anthony Rogers in the top 3 of the ACU Academy Cup.

By riding at Donington Park their talent will be on show to the biggest teams in motor cycle racing and may open the door to them competing at this level in the future.

For more information on this press release and the ACU Academy please contact Brian George, 01788 566428 or via e-mail brian@acu.org.uk.

I would like to wish all wild card riders a successful British GP !
And if anyone out there knows Luke Lawerence, please wish him all the
best, from a former Bemsee club member ! TO ANOTHER !
