On wednesday night last, the Tyrone Courier (part of the Alpha Group Newspapers,(NI) and possibly the best selling national local newspaper!), held their bi annual Sports Personality presentations.
With the votes coming from the public, and so many sports to cater for in the Tyrone area, i personally didnt think that motorcycling would get a look in, especially with the might of the Tyrone Gaelic Team, along with the top footballers,Hockey , Tennis players etc, but I was to be proved wrong( and gladly so!), when John Burrows took 3rd overall!
Well done Jonny Boy, lets hope that this is the form for the rest of 07! 8)
