Ive had a call from a sponsor who I believe was to sponsor a Local rider (a forum member too) in this years TT on a K2 GSXR but the rider has just had his entry turned down due to the bike being more than four years old. When did this rule come in ?.

The Supersport 600 TT is run to FIM rules and I quote them as follows

"Once a motorcycle has been homologated, it may be used for a maximum
period of 5 years, or until such a time that the homologated motorcycle no
longer complies with the technical rules."

I seem to remember pointing out that Superbike and Supersport rules where long and complicated.
I know who this is affecting and I feel very sory for him.

600s in the MCUI are supposed to run to FIM rules one wonders if they've even spotted this little beauty.
I said it was a mistake when the MCUI went down this route and I still stand by that now.
