The Joey Dunlop Foundation is making a final push for funds for its Holiday Home.

It's hoped the building work will start this Winter, but the group is now
appealing to all those who've pledged cash, supplies and man-power to come up with the goods.

The home will be built in two stages, and organisers hope the ground floor
section will be up and running in time for next year's TT.

It'll provide much needed holiday accommodation for anyone with a
disability.

The charity works in memory of one of the island's best loved TT winners -
Joey himself was a keen charity worker.

Chairman of the Joey Dunlop Foundation, Kevin Quirk is appealing to all
those who've made promises to help to contact him on 677606.

Following my appeal on various websites ,radio and local press, I received one phone call a local electrician who has offerred his services free of charge.

A local Groundworker , a well known painter and decorator plus Manx Gas have confirmed their support .

What has happened to all those promises of support ?

Remember this small Committee cannot perform miracles and we have been reliant upon these promises being kept and not broken.
