I know it's another website, and I do hope they don't mind me sending you to it to see this, but this boy has a future as a writer if he gets TOO scared!....don't believe a word of it, as he was brill, safe (where I saw him, and a really personable, social and down to earth young man. (Vote for Jamie!)

Been there, felt just like that.

Monday morning practice, Manx Grand Prix, 1978.

Mind you, we didn't have a Travelling Marshal to follow.

Wouldn't have been able to keep up with him anyway . . . . . .

Riding round, thinking "I've seen photos of here" and then "What the hell am I doing here??"

Bloody terrified

Is this the same Jamie Robinson that used to write for Performance Bikes for awhile years back , when the fantastic Ronnie Smith and Gus Scott were also writing for the mag?
