Was he the guy that used to wear a kilt on the startline? I spotted him too!

RE: MOSE
Don't know why Mose was on crutches, but I'll find out. However, his presence at the Speedway is no surprise as that is Mose's first love.
Mose was a TT competitor many years ago, as passenger to Ian Dickie, 1978 and 79 with a best finish of 15th.

From a reliable source, who wishes to remain anonymous!

The other Friday, Mose was about to cross the road (why did the Mose want to cross the road - could start a whole new line in jokes). He looked left, loooked right, looked left again (or is it the other way about?), and he genuinely didn't see any cars, stepped out into the road, was struck by a car, which knocked him down and then run over his foot.smilie

He reassured the woman driver that he was fine, and established he hadn't damaged the car, and shooed her away, as he had important things to do.Bonk

He got in his car and beetled off to Armadale to the Speedway.Yahoo

He scrutineered the bikes, but by this time was feeling a bit ropey, and toddled/hobbled off to the medics.smilie

Now in stooky, not sure if broken foot or ankle but in plaster for 6 weeks.Sad

The accident has not affected his vocal ability any!smilie
