It is with sadness that we report the death of Martin Farley from Wakefield, in a last lap incident at Alpine Cottage during the Newcomers race yesterday.

Martin leaves a wife and two children and we extend our sincerest condolences to them.

There have been no further details released concerning the accident and it is not yet known when the inquest will take place.
