Jan, I don't know if it's still run but on the Sunday before practice there used to be a marathon race around the TT course that finished down by the war memorial, so not only have people walked it but plenty of mad buggers have actually run it!!

yup,and i rode in it! in i think around 1968/69? in the 250 race on my ducati,paddock bend was awfull the other way round.
memories fading now but remember seeing hailwood on the honda 6? running away with it,and i can still remember the SOUND me!.
