Iconic Italian brand MV Agusta will be making a notable return to compete in the Isle of Man TT Races, campaigned by the World Performance Racing team. WPR is a family run business based in Chesterfield who, in association with Chorley-based Moto GB, will be taking the new MV Agusta F3 and F4 machines to compete at the TT next year.

It came as no surprise to the guests at the TT Riders Association annual lunch that the main dish on the menu was Barnsley chop. For it was Mick Chatterton, son of that famous Yorkshire town, who did the traditional "ride in" as newly elected President of the TTRA for the coming year.

Five spectacular spectator areas have been designated as "Fan Zones" for the 2012 Isle of Man TT Races, fuelled by Monster Energy, and each will have a temporary grandstand. The grandstands will have capacity of between 200 and 300 seats each, supplementing the main TT Grandstand on the start/finish line on Glencrutchery Road.
