It is reported on MCN site that Barry Sheene has cancer,although most TT fans have mixed reservations about Barry i think the majority will wish Barry good luck in his battle with the dreaded illness, life sometimes is hard and we never know whats round the corner.

Firstly it was lovely to read some of the memories you have written about Jock and I would especially like to say how wonderful the article in Bikesport by John McComisky was, it brought back lots of great memories for me and the family, thanks John. As you know the memorial meeting is at Knockhill 5/6 Oct and I am trying to trace as many of Jocks friends/racebuddies to get together for a blast from the past, if you are one of them then please contact me or simply turn up at the event, there will be live music & BBQ & camping on the Sat night. Look forward to hearing/seeing you soon. Yvonne (Jocks Niece)

Surelu Mr Webmaster, such submissions in that sort of bad taste should not have made it to the website--
That sort of comment is truly beyond belief and I think you must remove that string immediately--
I appreciate that it is a free world and people can have their say, but I feel that who, or whatever submitted that "letter" should be banned and made to apologise--
Brainless people-----What is this world coming to ??
