I coudnt agree more about Milky.
The point I was making earlier was that I hope he had been misquoted,
He always seemed an ok bloke to me.
Maybe a nutty character (remember the undies at the Vila Marina?)
but ok.

I have read the postings but not the article.

I wonder what Milkys comments would be. It would not be the first time that someone has assisted the press in good faith hoping to see an honest, positive article only to be horrified at the result.

I will continue to consider Milkys intention as honourable and voice my dissapointment with the press for their attempts to create interest.

Hopefully my view will be correct.

In my opinion she was writing of her own experience and highlighted what things stuck in her mind from her visit.

Alot of people think like this. Infact i think the vast majority of folks that have never sat on a powerful motorcycle, never mind on the back of a TT winner would be thinking of death!

Of course as a TT fan i would rather an article witch talked about bravery, entertainment and admiration but we got to take the ruff with the smooth. We do lose hero's to the course. The TT is a crazy race and i love it.

What I sent as a PM to the mysterious FC
FC : I made no posting to this thread (unless the Alzheimers is really kicking in?), so do not know what my old friend Tom is on about!
Maybe there is an impersonator about? My question to you about your experience was solely to qualify your "right to comment" FC. With respect, perhaps if you were more like me - named openly instead of just initials, your views might carry more weight? I have seen coments here and on other forums from people whose only qualification has been the ability to sit on a bank, quaffing Okells - the TT fan and genuine spectator is of course entitled to say anything, but it does help if you know who is "talking" and from whence they come.....

YEP IT WAS. IT'S MY*******EYES. I TYPE IN BIG PRINT BECAUSE IT'S EASIER TO SEE AND DO WITH ONE HAND AND A LARGE MAGNYFYING GLASS IN THE OTHER AND I GET CONFUSED WITH MEMORY LOSS.

SO APOLOGIES TO PETER IT WAS COLIN HAMMONDS POST. YOU GOTTA ADMIT COLIN MOORE REPLIES WITH GUSTO AND IN SOME STYLE.

I HAD A ROW OF BIKES LIKE THAT BUT A FEW MORE ONCE, WON PLENTY OF REPS MESELF AND FIRST SIX PLACES. PLUS OTHER SPONSORED BIKES THAT BROKE LAP RECORDS AND WON, LIKE A CERTAIN MATE OF MINE WHO WON ON THE ISLAND HIMSELF AND SPONSORED 11 WINNERS MGP AND TT. WE MUST HAVE BEEN REAL SUCKERS POURING THOUSANDS OF OUR OWN MONEY FROM HARD GRAFT INTO BIKES AND SPARES FOR OTHERS TO RIDE FOR NO RETURN. FC A BIT OF A MUGS GAME THAT SPONSORING .
